ABSTRACT
Poster Design, Illustration
To extend the branding, I applied the pattern to a range of event merchandise, including a scarf, tank top, and collectible tickets. Each piece not only functions as a practical item but also serves as a wearable or keepsake extension of the event’s visual language, creating a unified and immersive attendee experience. Through this project, I combined research, pattern design, and brand application to celebrate Myerscough’s influence while translating her artistic spirit into a contemporary SCAD context.
Abstract: A Tribute to Morag Myerscough
This project explores the vibrant and eclectic design style of renowned graphic designer Morag Myerscough. Inspired by her bold use of color, geometric forms, and joyful compositions, I developed a custom pattern that reflects her signature aesthetic. The pattern became the foundation for a cohesive visual identity centered around a fictional SCAD lecture featuring Myerscough. The primary application was a dynamic event poster, designed to capture the energy and creativity of her work while providing essential event details.
